This time of year is often full of holiday stress because of the extra stuff we have to take on. Having a great plan and an even better system to track that plan can save you hours AND keep you from wanting to set the tree on fire!

In this post, I want to share a few ideas on how you can use Evernote to avoid holiday stress and keep your holidays filled with Joy and Cheer!

Avoiding Holiday Stress with Evernote

1. Gift lists It is important to have a budget and stick to it for the holidays. However, keeping track of your spending isnt always easy if you dont have a system. Use Evernote to keep track of the items you purchase for each individual and the total you spend. Grab your Evernote Gift List Template here.

2. Shopping tracker Are you doing Black Friday shopping? Use Evernote to record what items are on sale and where (and take pictures of the ads) and then plan out your method of attack!

3. Decorating Have you ever pulled out your pile of decorations and tried to remember exactly what was supposed to go where? Take pictures this year and store them in Evernote so you will be able to quickly duplicate next year.

4. Meal planning If you are hosting the family and friends for a meal, you may be struggling to keep track of whos bringing what and what you still need to plan for. Use Evernote to plan the meal, keep track of items that others will bring and even to plan out the day working backwards from when dinner will be served.

5. Travel list Perhaps you are not hosting this year but you will be traveling. I love using Evernote to create checklists I can use over and over for things like what to pack when traveling. It is also a great place to store your itinerary for easy reference.

6. Thank yous Need to remember who bought what for whom for thank you notes later? Write it down in Evernote. Better yet, take a picture and record the details.

The holidays dont have to be stressful if we plan ahead and go into them with organization.
