First coined by David Allen in Getting Things Done, the Someday/Maybe list is a way for you to track ideas and projects you might like to focus on in the future. The principle behind David Allen’s GTD system is that the more time we spend thinking about things, the less time we are focused on getting things done. By recording the things we think about, we will STOP thinking about them and resume our focus on what matters.

Most of my clients are entrepreneurs who often get random thoughts of new projects they want to work on in the future. Your Someday/Maybe list is a place to record these thoughts, or even the ones like, “remember the milk”.  Think of the Someday/Maybe list is your routine brain dump.
