I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for supporting me through some very tough times in the past two years. Gratitude is something that has moved me forward in life and been a huge crutch in my most dire times.
Here are some of the things I’m most grateful for.

- My inspiring, emotionally connected 17 year old son, Tom.
- Having had so many wonderful years with my son, Brad.
- My 3 loving dogs.
- My mom who showed me the importance of taking care of myself.
- My dad who taught me how to talk to strangers (in a good way).
- My curly hair.
- My beautiful home.
- My ability to see things in a unique way.
- My friends who teach me many things.
- The people in my life who accept me just as I am.
- Colored pens.
- A cold beer on a hot summer day.
- A cup of hot cocoa on a cold winter eve.
- The ability to say what is important to me.
- My siblings who inspire me.
- A cool breeze.
- A good book.
- Being able to ask for help.
- Knowing the money is there even when an unforeseen expense comes up.
- Helping people gain clarity.
- Butterflies.
- Horses.
- An amazing photograph.
- Getting to travel.
- A comfortable bed when I’m really tired.
- A car that gets me where I need to go and that I enjoy driving.
- Helping people find the positive within them.
- My coaching clients.
- My longest and still best friend, Michelle Smith.
- My almost as long and also best friend, Karole Davis.

- Being able to read, even if I’m slower than most.

- Having a profession that fulfills me.

- Migraine free days.
- Migraines that remind me to be grateful for the migraine free days.
- Quiet talks that go long into the night.
- That moment when I realize I just said exactly the right thing.
- Being a best selling author.
- My house plants.
- The full moon.
- Living in an amazing country.
- Belief in myself.
- Finding the good in others.
- My ability to see a different perspective.
- Roller coasters.
- Long hikes in the woods.

- That I always have a choice. Sometimes those choices aren’t easy, but I always have one.

This wasn’t a difficult activity, though it may be if it is your very first time facing your gratitude. Sometimes the hardest part is getting creative with a nice balance of things and thoughts/feelings.
