21 Random Acts of Kindness Using Greeting Cards

A random act of kindness is when you give of yourself to someone else in an effort to make their day a little brighter. The act can be something simple, like smiling and saying hello to each person you meet or something a little bigger like paying the toll for the car behind you. Random acts of kindness have no rules or limits. It's just a matter of doing something unexpected for someone else.

Sending unexpected greetings cards are a good way to perform your daily random act of kindness. You can send greeting cards to anyone that you have an address for and add a little joy to their life. Here are some great reasons to send a greeting card today.

  1. It's their birthday, Valentine's Day, Easter, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, etc...
  2. Send a greeting card just to say, "I appreciate you". Do they really know how valuable they are to you?
  3. Send a greeting card because you haven't seen them and want them to know you miss them.
  4. Say thanks for being my ...(son, daughter, grandchild, niece, nephew, friend, wife, husband, etc...).
  5. Remind them of an exciting event that is coming up.
  6. Remind them of a neat experience you had together.
  7. Send a greeting card to tell them something special about yourself.
  8. Share a joke you just heard.
  9. Just to say you love them. Do you really need any more of a reason than that?
  10. Send a thank you greeting card to thank a neighbor for something you borrowed.
  11. Thank a business person for a job well done.
  12. Share something wonderful that you noticed about them.
  13. Send a greeting card to complement a server you had.
  14. Thank someone for a complement you received.
  15. Tell someone what they mean to you.
  16. Send a greeting card to someone you work with telling them what a great job they did on a project.
  17. Send a greeting card to your postal carrier for all their hard work.
  18. Thank the leaders in a non-profit organization you support.
  19. Or better yet, thank those that work hard but are not the leaders.
  20. Thank your children for all the wonderful memories they are giving you. They might laugh but I bet they will appreciate it anyway.
  21. Send a greeting card to yourself. Sometimes we forget to thank ourselves for putting up with everything we put ourselves through.
